“I’d like to thank all of the teams who participated in this year’s effort to have Duke’s season end hilariously in defeat on national television, or — as it’s better known: the NCAA Tournament,” said NCAA president Mark Emmert.

Day sixteen — Something that you want to do within the next five years.
I want to settle down south in North Carolina, where my heart’s been for these two years, get my counseling certificate from App State, counsel youth with a non-profit & be a part of a community gardening program.

Taken from a Washington Post article about the upcoming annual Cherry Blossom festival in D.C.
As for the blossom festival — this year marks the 99th anniversary of Japan’s gift of the trees to Washington — “the trees actually symbolize renewal, rebirth,” said Diana Mayhew, president of the festival. “And now more than ever, again rebuilding for the Japanese,” she said. “So the festival is very...

crowleysplants asked: Hey. I just read your post about Rufus and I guess I just felt like explaining that Rufus and Lorca have been friends for a very, very long time. I don't know how long exactly but probably from their late childhood when Rufus was living in Montreal and so was she and their families knew each other or something. But most definitely since 1995 because, well, there is a photo. :)

Leonard Cohen's daughter gave birth to Rufus... →
I’m just going to quote the entire article because it is TOO GOOD FOR YOU TO IGNORE:
Rufus Wainwright and fiancé Jorn Weisbrodt are the proud fathers of a baby girl. A post today on Wainwright’s website announced that Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen was born on Feb. 2 in L.A., Calif. “The little angel is evidently healthy, presumably happy and certainly very very beautiful,” the...
